Order a custom handmade nylon bullwhip. My bullwhips offer a smooth, flowing transition and thong that rolls out and cracks with ease.

Compared to stock whips and performance hybrid whips, bullwhips are not as agile and are less suited for multiple, fast cracking routines. Nylon bullwhips are heavier with a substantial taper, offering precise and powerful cracks.

Generally speaking, higher plait count lends to a higher quality whip with better flow and handling. A whip comprised of more strands offers more flexibility. However, a quality bullwhip made by a professional whipmaker will handle comparably, no matter the plait count.

Nylon whips are incredibly durable and tolerate extreme weather conditions quite well. There is little difference in performance between nylon whips and their leather counterparts. While leather whips are a craft all of their own, nylon does have benefits. For example, the cow whips I make are predominately used in harsh Florida ranching conditions.

About My Handmade Nylon Bullwhips

I begin each bullwhip with a spring steel handle and shot-loaded core, then two plaited bellies, followed by a 16 plait overlay. I then add a heel and transition knot.

Every whip is finished with a melted paraffin wax bath. The wax permeates the nylon and acts as a protective barrier against the elements, increasing its lifespan dramatically. It also adds weight to the whip.

Quality handmade nylon bullwhips should last you years, if not a lifetime. I only accept refunds/returns if the whip is in new, unused condition and fails due to my craftsmanship. There is a 20% cancellation fee for custom orders.
